What helps you relax? For me, nature and music play a large role in helping my mindfulness & living in the moment. I suffer from c-PTSD and general anxiety disorder. My symptoms are greatly reduced when immersed in nature and music, much like guided meditation helps too. Please take a step inside my world and enjoy the sights and sounds.

Nature Visuals & Self Portraits

I bought my first camera in 2008 and became interested in nature and self-portrait photography. Not only did exploring nature bring me closer to the changing seasons, but it opened up an outlet for me to express and change myself. My self-portraits became a way for me share my deepest emotions without words. Looking back on my work, I can see the emotion and remember the events that helped develop me into the person I am today.

My PhD work is also taking the same course. Throughout my PhD research I am documenting my experience with developing music and how I change throughout the process of creation.
